Meet the Heart Behind Blackwater Coffee Co.
Blackwater Coffee Co. is locally and family owned, founded in 2016. We opened our doors in the fall of 2017 and we'd love for you to stop by and say hello!
Maggie and Micah Lansford met in college at Texas Tech University, Micah going on to study pharmacy at Creighton in Omaha, NE, before they returned to Clovis, his childhood home. After developing a love for coffee and business in college, they began to realize their dreams of opening a coffee shop next to his family's pharmacy, Roden Smith Pharmacy, and Blackwater Coffee Co. was born.
With a vision to enrich the everyday for the community in Clovis, to bring people together and to serve the highest quality, best coffee, the adventure began!

Now, years later, Micah and Maggie continue to pour into their businesses, their staff, and this community every day. It’s an honor to be part of such a vibrant and supportive town. As they raise their three children, they intentionally teach them about local love, the value of excellence, the importance of community, and the responsibility to care for others.
Micah and Maggie have long been woven into the fabric of the Clovis community—growing up here, coaching youth sports, serving on local boards like the Chamber of Commerce and Committee of 50, and building lasting friendships along the way.
